We’re excited to announce our upcoming Keiki Job Experience Lite this November at Kalihi Union Church, in collaboration with Touch A Heart Hawaii! 💖 Keiki Job Experience Lite is the second line of our Kids Job Experience Workshop — a shorter and more affordable version designed to make hands-on learning accessible to even more families. 🌟 Touch A Heart is a nonprofit that provides culinary and baking vocational training for individuals facing barriers to employment, while also operating social enterprises such as Baker’s Heart Hawaii, Ohana Meals, and Touch A Heart Catering. ✨ Kids Job Experience #003: Hair & Make Edition ✨ On September 7, twelve kids explored the world of beauty at Sayumi Bridal in Waikiki! 🌺 MIRAI HANA Pick Up 🌺 From time to time, we’ll be sharing community groups and activities in Hawaii that are perfect for keiki to connect with the community and learn through real experiences. 🌊 Vol.1: Honolulu Umisakura 🌊 Did you know there’s a community group in Honolulu that has already hosted more than 140 beach cleanups? ✨ Every 4th Sunday of the month, families and kids gather at Ala Moana Beach (9:30 AM) to pick up trash for one hour, then enjoy raffles, sponsor goodies, and even spam musubi! 🍙 Sometimes there’s even a BBQ after the cleanup.
