What is MIRAI HANA?

MIRAI HANA is a Hawai‘i‑based educational initiative where children experience the joy of working, learning, and connecting with their community.

The name combines “Mirai” (future in Japanese) and “Hana” (work in Hawaiian), reflecting our mission to help kids bridge the gap between “what I want to try” and “what I want to become.”

It’s more than just a kids’ event—Mirai Hana is a platform where local businesses, schools, and families come together to empower the next generation.
Through hands‑on workshops, businesses share their know‑how and inspire young participants, while parents see their children gain confidence, practical skills, and real‑world insights.

Mirai Hana builds authentic connections between children and the local community—shaping a brighter future for Hawai‘i, together.
